I have always had a passion and a love for making a mess in the kitchen to create something that disappears in 10 minutes after hours of preparation and days of planning. Most people call this baking. I call it edible art.

The name was a nickname from my late grandmother. Coincidentally, the initials of Lady Jane are my same initials. Only makes sense to use them, right?

 

The first cake I made was inspired by those cake shows with all those crazy cakes. I remember watching TV one day and saying to myself, "I can do that too!"  Ever since then, I knew that this is what I wanted to do: create cakes that no one wants to eat because they would rather stare at it and take pictures. But the best part of baking something is eating it (so dig in!).

A few years down the road, I met this guy who was handsome and charming, and long story short, I hired him as my assistant (in life. We got married.) Now together, Mr and Mrs. Jones are out to conquer the cake world! (Not really, but we'll still try!)
